When I was trying to figure out who’s singing which part in SPLASH FREE, Tattsun, Wing and Mamo are really easy to pick out since their singing voices are unique but Zakki and HiraDai…haha I need to do more research QwQ The voices just blend in so well.

As for Water Surprise, it’s mostly right but there are still some phrases where I’m like…Nobunaga…is that you? Or is that just Tattsun going soft? Haha _(:3)∠)_

Burenai (ブレない) – It could mean ‘no breastroke’ but it can also mean ‘consistently heading towards one direction’, having a goal. Either makes sense, especially if you take the MV into account.

The FREE! Fanbook will be releasing an article on the lyrics of the OP and ED songs so I’ll be re-editing this then.

Ramblings:

So FREE! finished airing this morning and it’s also my birthday. WHY THANK YOU KYOANI AHAHAHAH I’m not sure how this counts as a treat for myself but I had to get this out. I HAD TO GET THESE SONGS OUT BECAUSE LOOK AT THE FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE IN THESE SONGS!!!

The songs are so catchy too! I swear once the first second of either song starts playing, it will stay in my mind forever. _(:3)∠)_ This is gotten so bad. I will forever be addicted to FREE! *sobs*

It was a beautiful anime in every aspect. The art and animation of course!! I mean I’m sure us fans had our eyes on it ever since the KyoAni CM because of the art!! Ksdfjaosefijaoiefj Then it just became so brilliant when it was properly animated… *cries*

Who knew…WHO KNEW THIS ANIME WOULD HAVE SUCH A MOVING PLOT. It wasn’t exactly focused on the swimming (but daym that muscle research and other research they did…). Instead it was about the links and friendships between the boys QwQ A link that never really broke but just had to be repaired…I CAN’T SAY ANYMORE OR I’LL START CRYING MY EYES OUT AGAIN ヾ(:3ﾉｼヾ)ﾉｼ ←(Back stroke instead of flailing, anyone? /shot)

And and and!! Australia was featured. WELL MORE SPECIFICALLY SYDNEY WAS FEATURED IN THE 11^TH ENDING CARD!! When people say Olympic and swimming, we usually assume Brisbane (Queensland) because that’s where most Olympic swimmers train. It’s also pretty famous for its beaches 0w0 But then they showed Sydney (where the 2000 Olympics were held) and I THINK MY ENTIRE UNI ANIME SOCIETY AND OTHER SYDNEY FANS/COSPLAYERS JUST WENT CRAZY hahaha You can totally guess which uni I go to now >w<

It’s just so rare for us to appear in anything at all…that’s why I’m so much more attached to FREE! than I thought I’d be.
